Summary:
THe objective of this project was to create a 2023 Forever Postage Stamp in the minimal realism stylw of the late painter Charley Harper.
Sketches
I chose the sandhill crane as my subject because they are indigenous to my area (DuPage County, Illinois) and because I've always been fascinated by their grace and beauty.
Final Draft
For the larger, more detailed view, I added native prarie plants to the design.
